How do I scan a card?
Open the scanner and point the camera at a card. Hold it flat in even light; the app locks on by itself and shows the card’s name, set, number and market price, usually in about a second. Recognition runs on your phone, so it also works without internet.
A card was identified incorrectly
Move the card slightly, tilt it away from direct light or put it on a plain background, and the scanner will try again. Glare on holofoil is the most common cause. You can also search the card by name and pick the right one.
Which cards can it scan?
The 21,987 cards of the 164 English sets, from Base Set to 30th Celebration. Japanese cards aren’t supported yet. New sets are added after release without an app update.
Where do the prices come from?
From TCGplayer and Cardmarket market data, plus recent graded (PSA) sales where available. You choose the marketplace in Settings → Prices from; your currency setting converts the amounts. Prices are estimates, not offers.
How many scans are free?
5 scans every day, with no account and no ads. Searching by name is always free. PokeScan Pro removes the limit.
Is my collection backed up?
Your collection lives on your phone. Sign in with Apple or Google from Settings to back it up and sync it across devices.
How do I delete my account?
Email us from the address you signed in with and we’ll delete your account and all synced data within 30 days. Signing out keeps your collection on your phone.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → PokeScan. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Restore purchases
New phone or reinstalled the app? Open Settings → Restore Purchases to reactivate Pro with the same Apple ID.
