Terms of Use
These terms apply to the PokeScan iOS app. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, these terms add to it.
The service
PokeScan identifies trading cards with your phone’s camera and helps you keep track of your collection and its estimated market value.
Prices are estimates
Prices shown in the app come from third-party marketplace data (TCGplayer, Cardmarket and graded sales) and are informational estimates only. They are not offers to buy or sell, and we don’t guarantee they are accurate or current. Don’t rely on them as financial advice.
Free plan and PokeScan Pro
The free plan includes 5 scans a day. PokeScan Pro removes that limit and unlocks extra collection features. Pro is offered as an auto-renewing weekly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, billed through your Apple ID.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Free trials, when offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
Acceptable use
Don’t abuse, reverse engineer or attempt to disrupt the service. Data you sync must be lawful and yours.
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Card recognition is automated and can occasionally misidentify a card. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on information shown in the app.
Trademarks
PokeScan is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures Inc. or GAME FREAK Inc. Pokémon and Pokémon character names are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and GAME FREAK inc.
